Here are some places donations may be made too. My Mother's illness's were numerous but her was one that really caused her most the pain( IBS):
The Canadian Society of Intestinal Research (SiR) is a registered non-profit organization established in 1976. SiR is dedicated to promoting public awareness, providing patient education and funding medical research into gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. The Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Self Help and Support Group was formed in 1987 in support of those who suffer from IBS, those who are looking for support for someone who has IBS, and medical professionals who want to learn more about IBS. The IBS Self Help and Support Group works to educate those who are living with IBS and to increase awareness about this and other functional gastrointestinal disorders. Association des maladies gastro-intestinales fonctionnelles (AMGIF), formerly known as l’Association du syndrôme de l’intestin irritable, is a Quebec-based non-profit organization founded in 1999 by a group of volunteers. The mission of the association is to improve the quality of life and well-being of all Quebecers suffering with IBS, and to offer information and ensure support for IBS patients. The AMGIF also encourages medical research to improve the detection and prevention of IBS, as well as the treatment of patients who suffer from the syndrome. Diane Cordner’s Funeral Details
The funeral will take place Saturday 29th at 11 am at Collins Clarke Macgillivray White at 5610 Sherbrooke West (cross street Old Orchard), Montreal, QC, H4A 1W5. The phone number is 514-483-1870.
The viewings will be Thursday July 27 and Friday July 28th at the same location from 2-5 pm and then from 7-9 pm on both days.

Diane Linda Cordner passed away July 19th 2006...
The passing of my mother has led to many uncanny coincidences and encounters with people from my past, present and persons that I have never met before this week. It has also led me to starting this journal. This is the place where she truly enriched her life. Her friends on LJ brought her tremendous pride and joy. She would talk about you all in every conversation we had. I never quite knew what she was talking about until now.
I want you all to know that you meant a lot to Diane and that she has you all in her mind, wherever she is now. I guarantee you that she is dancing and singing and looking out for any lost soul that needs comforting and a mom.
